Crew List and Bios
In alphabetical order by first name:
Alyssa - Treasurer / PR / Research
She/Her
Alyssa joined Rebel in 2007 as Steve in Marty Duhatschek’s “Werewolf of Westhaven”. Since then, she's worn many different hats and is currently Rebel Alliance Theatre’s Treasurer (she makes sure the storage gets paid for!).Her most recent roles were Millie in “Perfect Arrangement” and Stage Manager during most of our previous seasons. For this production, Alyssa has done taken on a different kind of ‘manager’ role with Pauline. We hope you like her just as much as we do!
Artemis - PR, Social Media
He/Him/They/Them
Artemis’ first role was in 2016 in an experimental project surrounding Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”. Being married to Keegan meant theatre was a constant topic. Even though Artemis hardly considered going on stage in the past, now it is a part of his life he has grown to enjoy. It may be hard work, but it is fulfilling in ways that are difficult to describe. Since 2016, he has taken on acting roles, designed and ran lights, assistant directed, run PR and marketing so that our fabulous Jen was able to pass the torch on that aspect of the business. Artemis is a full time artist and illustrator with a passion for teaching. You can see his work on our 2023 and 2024 posters, playbills, and his website.
Auden - Food Props
They/Them
Auden’s first true role with Rebel was as Beauty in our 2023 production of Marty Duhatschek’s “Beauty and the Beast”, followed by Stage Manager and understudy through “Perfect Arrangement”, then Mom in “True West” earlier this year. They’ve learned a lot in that short amount of time and shines beautifully and cutely as Anna. Auden is not only acting with us, but working full time and attending school to become a Vet Tech!
Elijah - Lights
He/Him
Taking the limitations that our current lighting setup provides, Elijah was able to craft the lighting design. Running lights is more than just up and down, and he learned how to work alongside sound and actors to ensure a cohesive story is told from start to finish.. Elijah also filled in for absent actors during rehearsals. Running lights is only one of his amazing talents! His skills and creativity also brought about the handmade spot light/focus light used in this performance. Thank you, Elijah, for your creative ingenuity.
Jen - Shoe Drive Coordinator / Sound Design
She/Her
Jen has been involved with Rebel for over 20 years. A talented sound designer and integral organizer for our annual Shoe Drive, we wouldn’t have much of a show without Jen’s incredible talents. Almost all seven of her kids have been involved with Rebel at one point. Jen is grateful for the million ways that being a part of Rebel has enriched their lives and hers. Jen encourages everyone to find a way to participate in the magic of theatre; as an audience member, behind the scenes, or on the stage!
Keegan - Props Lead / Lobby / Set
He/Him
Keegan debuted in his first RAT show in 2006. After taking on role after role, shadowing Tech roles, and even assistant directing 2 shows, he now strives to keep Rebel alive with his fellows. Theatre is an important part of his life, and he has admitted that without it, he does not feel alive. Now, more than ever, Keegan feels live theatre is needed in the world. It is his hope that others have the same passion and need for live theatre so that Rebel Alliance Theatre can one day own its own building again, and create works of art for audiences to learn from and enjoy.
Kelley - Co-Founder / Artistic Director / Costume Lead
She/Her
In 1995, Kelley co-founded Rebel Alliance Theatre. Kelley has directed and designed numerous productions, and traditionally directs Rebel's Shakespeare productions. She dreams of one day directing Terrence McNally's Corpus Christi. Outside of Rebel, Kelley teaches Shakespeare and composition at UW Oshkosh where she holds a BA in Theatre Arts and an MA in English.
Peregrine - Leroy’s Shirts
They/Them/He/Him
Pip’s first performance with Rebel was as a pirate in “Treasure Island” in the late 2000s. Since then, Pip has been through numerous performances and roles. He returned to the stage in 2023 for our production of Marty Duhatschek’s “Beauty and the Beast”. They’ve been excited and energized to be back in the thick of it and is looking forward to being regularly involved with Rebel again.
